What is THC?
A: THC is known as the main psychoactive compound in cannabis that creates the high or intoxicated effect. Formally known as Tetrahydrocannabinol, THC is one of at least 113 cannabinoids identified in cannabis.
What is CBD?
A: If you've never tried cannabis before, you might be encouraged to start here. That's because CBD (or cannabidiol) is the non-psychoactive component of the cannabis plant, depending on how it is derived, as it only contains trace amounts of THC. CBD can either be found in the marijuana plant, or derived from the hemp plant. BUT, make sure you get your CBD from a trusted brand or retailer like Kiaro. That means the product you are purchasing has been tested for quality, efficacy, and consistency, so the psychoactive ingredients don't creep into your product!

Can I consume cannabis in public?
A: In the province of Saskatchewan you are not allowed to consume cannabis publicly. Please always refer to your provincial guidelines and regulations found here.
In the province of British Columbia, you are allowed to consume cannabis in public with some important exceptions. Smoking and vaping cannabis is prohibited everywhere tobacco smoking and vaping are prohibited. A: No - you should never consume cannabis and operate any type of motor vehicle as per the Cannabis Act and regulations.
