FAQ

What is THC?

A: THC is known as the main psychoactive compound in cannabis that creates the high or intoxicated effect. Formally known as Tetrahydrocannabinol, THC is one of at least 113 cannabinoids identified in cannabis.

What is CBD?

A: If you've never tried cannabis before, you might be encouraged to start here. That's because CBD (or cannabidiol) is the non-psychoactive component of the cannabis plant, depending on how it is derived, as it only contains trace amounts of THC. CBD can either be found in the marijuana plant, or derived from the hemp plant. BUT, make sure you get your CBD from a trusted brand or retailer like Kiaro. That means the product you are purchasing has been tested for quality, efficacy, and consistency, so the psychoactive ingredients don't creep into your product!
